How to run check-in for a multi-day event
To run check-in for a multi-day event, choose the days each ticket is valid for, choose whether guests check in once each day or once for the whole event, then scan at the door every day. Eventera counts each day separately and shows a live count for today.
Here is how to set it up in five steps, and what the door sees when a ticket is not valid that day.
Step by step
- Make the event run for more than a day When you create the event, turn on Runs for more than a day and set the first and last day.
- Choose the days for each ticket A full pass is valid every day. A day ticket is valid only on the days you pick.
- Choose the check-in rule Once each day lets a guest in again the next day. Once for the whole event lets them in one time only.
- Scan at the door each day Green means in for today. A second scan the same day shows when the guest was checked in.
- Watch the count for each day The live screen shows today’s count and the total for each day of the event.
What the door sees
- A day ticket on another day: the scan says which days the ticket is valid
- A guest already checked in today: the time of the first scan
- A guest checked in yesterday: in again today, with the once-each-day rule
- Undo removes only the latest day’s check-in. Earlier days stay.
When the signal drops
Scans are saved on the phone and sync when it reconnects. Each scan counts for the day it was made, not the day it synced.
After the event
The report shows how many people came each day, and who did not show. Export it to a spreadsheet.
