A live count for the venue screen, self check-in and a live page

Eventera gives you three screens for the event day: a live count of guests checked in, self check-in on a tablet, and a live page with what is on now. The count and the live page update by themselves, so nobody has to reload them.

They open in the browser on any TV, laptop, tablet or phone. They come with every plan, Free included.

How it works

  1. Open the live screen In Check-in, open Door setup and choose Live screen. Put it in full screen on a TV or a laptop at the venue.
  2. Set up self check-in In Door setup, choose Self check-in on a tablet. Guests scan their own QR ticket or type the email they registered with.
  3. Show what is on now In Live, start the session that is on, mark delays and room changes, and post announcements. Venue screen opens the version for a projector.

The live screen

  • A big count of guests checked in, out of everyone registered, with the percentage
  • The count by role, such as Guest, VIP or Speaker
  • On multi-day events: today’s count and the total for each day
  • Updates every few seconds and shows the time of the last update
  • Full screen in one tap, in your event’s own look

Self check-in on a tablet

  • Guests hold their QR ticket to the camera, or type the email they registered with
  • A welcome with their first name once they are in
  • A QR for a group shows how many people it lets in
  • The tablet never shows a ticket code
  • The same rules as the door: a used ticket or a wrong day is refused

The live page

  • What is on now and what comes next, from your agenda
  • Delays, room changes, new speakers and cancelled sessions, shown within half a minute
  • Your announcements, with ready-made ones for doors open, lunch and breaks
  • A venue screen version with a QR code guests scan to follow on their phone
  • Announcements can also be emailed to everyone checked in, or everyone registered

Questions

Do I need special hardware?

No. Any screen with a browser works: a TV with a laptop, a tablet or a phone.

Can volunteers open self check-in without an account?

Yes. The door team link opens the same Self check-in and Live screen.

Is the live page public?

Yes. Anyone with the link can open it, like your event page. It shows the agenda and your announcements, never the guest list.

Is it included in the Free plan?

Yes. The live screen, self check-in and the live page come with every plan.
